HIV Vaccine Awareness Day is a time to educate our communities about the importance of safe sex. Sharing the latest in HIV prevention research is a great start! There are over 36.7 million people around the world with HIV. And since 1984, 0ver 35 million people have died of AIDS or HIV. With better awareness and prevention, we can keep future generations safe.

According to the CDC, HIV Vaccine Awareness Day is also a time to recognize the many volunteers, community members, health professionals, and scientists for their tireless work in the field. You can find more information here.
