The pappy takes on the puppy at the 2018 National Championship Game in Atlanta, Monday, January 8, at the new illustrious Mercedes Benz stadium. The Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide play each other for the sought after first place trophy. My daughter and husband are huge Georgia fans. Brittany is taking her father to the big game. They are floating on cloud nine.

Coaches Nick Saban and Kirby Smart face off as the world witnesses these two great men coach their teams to a possible victory. For seven years Kirby was mentored under the tutelage of the world-renowned Nick Saban. Much has been discussed in the media about how each coach will feel after this battle for first place.
I see this not as a battle between two great warriors, but as a student proudly displaying to the world the fruits of many years of training under his great teacher. No matter the outcome each coach must be proud of the knowledge, wisdom, and training that has been imparted to the world by this great mentor.
No winners or losers
There is not a winner and loser in my book. There is the pappy witnessing the fruits of his teachings, and the puppy challenging the teacher with his invaluable training. Both are winners. My husband and daughter want a Bulldog win and Kirby Smart leaving with the 2018 National Championship Game trophy.
