Celebrate love this National Loving Day. Today is the day to do a love assessment of your life. Make a list of everyone you love. Beside their names write down the last time you talked to them. Have you been too busy to tell those you love how critical they are in your life? Email them, send them a card, have a meal, or visit those you love and notice how your life lights up with light and hope.
In U.S history Loving Day also celebrates the end of the U.S. interracial marriage ban. On June 12, 1967, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Mildred and Richard Loving in the Loving v. Virginia case
