Twenty or thirty percent of American adults have marginal blood levels of vitamin C, and sixteen percent are reportedly deficient in vitamin C. Humans can’t manufacture vitamin C in our bodies. Research shows vitamin C lowers the risk of cancer, stroke, and high cholesterol. Vitamin C also slows the aging process. Make sure every day you get your vitamin C through any citrus fruits or even a vitamin C supplement.
