Today is World Diabetes Day, a day of awareness created by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1991. Today’s a day to spread awareness about diabetes.
World Diabetes Day
According to WHO, “almost 600 million of us may be living with diabetes” by 2035. We can all do something to significantly reduce these numbers. Today, over 100 countries will host campaigns about diabetes. Check the IDF website for more information on how you can get involved.
Reduce Your Risk of Diabetes
Also, you can use today to start reducing your risk of diabetes.
