This helps you create greater happiness and mental and physical health. Take a meditation or mindfulness class. If you don’t have time or access download one of the many great meditation or relaxation apps available. Begin with your breath by breathing slowly, inhale to the count of 1-2-3-4, slowly exhale to the count of 1-2-3-4. Imagine your thoughts flowing out with your breath and breathing back in calm and peace. You may want to focus on one short mantra or positive affirmation as you breathe in and out, such as, “I am relaxed, I feel peaceful, or I am my breath.” Read a book that takes your mind off on a fascinating journey.
