Have you donated blood? January is National Blood Donor Month so it’s the perfect time for you to make a difference. Every day in the U.S., “approximately 39,000 units of blood are required in hospitals and emergency treatment facilities” for people in need. Fortunately, there’s something you can do to help. Organize a blood donation drive at work or a local community center. Giving blood can save so many lives. Learn more from the American Red Cross.
