World No Tobacco Day

World No Tobacco Day is observed every year on May 31, a day of health awareness from the World Health Organization (WHO). According to WHO, “the global tobacco epidemic kills more than 7 million people each year.” This day is meant to highlight “the health and other risks associated with tobacco use” and advocate for “effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption.” Let’s continue to bring attention to the health risks that tobacco use can cause.
