National LGBTQIA Pride Month

LGBT Pride Month

The letters LGBTQIA refer to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied pride month. It’s a time to celebrate the LGBTQIA advocates and achievements within the community. It is also a time to spread awareness across the country.

LGBTQIA Pride Month

Pride is celebrated in the month of June. It commemorates the Stonewall riots in June 1969, a significant moment for the Gay Liberation Movement. Let’s use this month to increase our knowledge, decrease discrimination, and learn more about this diverse part of our American community. Lastly, want to learn more about the history of this month?
