It is National French Fry Day and is a day dedicated to our most guilty and delicious finger food cravings. French fries have always been an eating-on-the-go snack. Before the French Revolution, French fries were sold by “street hawkers.” Today, they are served in all kinds of settings, from sit-down dinners to country fair stands. In the U.S., ketchup is the most popular condiment, followed by mayonnaise and then malt vinegar. What’s your favorite way of eating fries? Celebrate today by treating your self to some delicious guiltless french fries.
