Melanoma Awareness Month

May is National Melanoma Awareness Month. Melanoma is a skin cancer that can spread earlier and more quickly than other skin cancers. 1 in 50 Americans will develop melanoma in their lifetime. It is the fastest growing cancer in the U.S. and worldwide. If you notice any unusual moles, sores, lumps, blemishes, markings, or changes in the way an area of your skin looks or feels, this may be a sign of melanoma. Get to your physician immediately.
