Today is Mindfulness Day. This is the day to practice mindfulness all day long. Set an alarm for every two hours to stop and take some deep breaths or repeat an inspirational affirmation to your self. Eat mindfully today. Choose healthy, beautiful foods and pause before you eat telling the universe how grateful you are for the plants, farmers, stores and workers who brought this food to you. Eat slowly and savor each bite.
Be mindful when you commute, by being kind to other drivers. Smile and let them in front of you and be kind. Have a family discussion over dinner about how all of you can live more mindfully in our world.
