Have you lost the holy experience of leisure in your life? Do you take regular naps or allow an afternoon or weekend to slip away as you lie in your hammock? We require leisure to balance our mental, physical, and spiritual lives. We need that scared time to decompress. Today, our society praises work, but we have lost the reverence for leisure and relaxation.

Try this exercise for National Summer Leisure Day: Do an audit of your day and week. Ask yourself if you are spending enough time each week immersing yourself in relaxation? Update your routine with leisure breaks and try to relax.
