Our society definitely has a love affair with penguins. With the numerous movie characters and plushie toys, we just can’t seem to get enough. Unfortunately, these remarkable creatures are in danger due to our actions. That’s why Penguin Awareness Day is so important.
You can find penguins throughout the Southern Hemisphere, including South America, Antartica, and Africa. And sadly, many of these penguin populations are threatened by climate change and have decreased by 80 percent. Want to help save the penguins?
