Don’t Put Your Pets on Tables

We all love our four-legged friends, but do they belong on our public table tops and chairs?

Many people end up with minor food poisoning because they allow their pets to jump, walk, eat, sit or lay on counters, tables, kitchen chairs etc, by letting them share or touch their food or by forgetting to wash their hands before eating.

The Mayo Clinic shows it only takes  one invisible transfer of fecal matter from your pet or certain bacteria to your hands or food to cause minor food poisoning.

This is very simple. Be good to your pets but always consider them dirty. Keep them off your counters, off your tables and away from your food.

Don’t you think it’s inconsiderate and mindLESS of the person using the table or chair after you? A table is a place of respect for human beings to share food, conversation and love. Four-leggeds need to be on the ground.
