Today is World Chocolate Day, a day for chocolate and chocolate lovers. Eating chocolate reduces stress and it has other health benefits as well.

Health Benefits of Chocolate

Believe it or not, this sweet goodness is good for your health! A study found that after eating chocolate every day for two weeks, people who were highly stressed had lower levels of stress hormones, cortisol and catecholamines. Previous studies found chocolate can help fight heart disease and reduce the chances of developing cancer.

We know it’s difficult but try to find a way to eat a little chocolate each day! When eating chocolate, try to stick to dark chocolate; it has higher antioxidants than milk chocolate.
