Today is Helen Keller’s birthday!
Helen Keller was an amazing American author and activist. She was also the first deaf and blind person to earn a college degree. Her teacher, Anne Sullivan, taught Keller how to communicate to the world. Today, the world celebrates the birth of this courageous, brave woman who transformed so many lives.
As she once said, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
Helen’s work also included our four-legged friends, the Akitas. She was credited for introducing this breed to the U.S. Discover more about Helen Keller on her birthday by reading a biography.
