National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month

It’s National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.

Did you know that the number of people with Alzheimer’s and dementia is growing tremendously worldwide? Currently, there are 47 million people who are living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. It’s important to know the symptoms of this disease; in some cases, an early intervention can transform the direction of this disease in your life and those you love.

For National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, start taking steps to slow or help prevent this disease in yourself and your loved ones. To learn more, visit a local Alzheimer’s Association chapter and wear purple to show your support.
